Why the Desert Duo Cup?
The Desert Duo Cup Series is more than a golf tournament. It's a season-long celebration of competition, camaraderie, and the beauty of the Sonoran Desert.
Six uniquely themed 2-Person Coed Scramble events lead teams on a journey toward the Desert Duo Cup Championship, where the season's top performers compete for the title of Desert Duo Cup Series Champion.
Hosted by Desert Birdie and SandHabit Golf Club, our mission is simple: create unforgettable tournament experiences on outstanding golf courses while building a community golfers can't wait to be part of year after year.
How it works
The Desert Duo Cup Series is a season-long points competition featuring six 2-person coed scramble events across Southern Arizona.
At each event, teams earn series points based on their finishing position. Every tournament also awards prizes for the winning team and Closest to the Pin, giving every event something to play for.
The Monsoon Cup is the series' Premier Event, where teams have the opportunity to earn Double Series Points, making it one of the most important stops on the road to the championship.
At the end of the season, is the Desert Duo Cup Championship, where teams compete for the title of Desert Duo Cup Series Champion and season-ending prizes.
